Jo-Anne Thomas will be representing SAWEA at the next Expert Reference Group meeting for the Electricity Grid Infrastructure SEA, on 21 July 2015. If any SAWEA members have specific queries they wish to be raised please inform email@example.com
Appointment of a SAWEA representative to the South African Bat Assessment Association Panel:
The South African Bat Assessment Association (SABAA) has recently approved a constitution that will be formally adopted on the 18th June 2015. The constitution states that all SABAA panellists (SABAAP) are to be members of SABAA. The panel seats are composed of:
•tTwo bat or wildlife-related NGO seats
•tTwo non-consulting bat specialist academics
•tThree consulting bat specialist consultants
•tOne government representative from either the DEA or one of the Provincial Conservation Authorities who is actively involved in development processes that may impact on bats
•tOne representative from the SAWEA
Considering the above panel seats, please put forward your nominations for the 2015/2016 SABAAP before the 18th June 2015. You can put forward as many names as you like, as these will be fairly voted for on the 18th June. Please confirm with the person you are nominating that they are happy to stand before you put their name forward. Only SABAA members are entitled to vote (membership costs R100/year for an individual).
For further information or to put forward your name for nomination please email firstname.lastname@example.org
